Day Plans
Your guide greets you at the Airport with a welcome sign and escorts you to your hotel. This day is kept free for you to rest after your flight. If you wish, you can take a gentle evening walk near your hotel to get a feel for the city before the main tour begins tomorrow.
We dive straight into the history of the Mughal era. Our first stop is Ahsan Manzil, the Pink Palace, standing grandly on the banks of the Buriganga River. We then experience the sensory overload of Sadarghat River Port. A traditional rickshaw ride takes us through the winding alleys to the 17th-century Lalbagh Fort and the serene Armenian Church. As evening falls, we head to Najira Bazar for a legendary food crawl.
Today we explore the transformation of the city. We start with a tour of the upscale Gulshan district. We visit the Bangabandhu Military Museum and the Novo Theatre before heading to the architectural masterpiece of the National Parliament House, designed by Louis Kahn. We conclude the tour with a visit to Jamuna Future Park for shopping, followed by a timely transfer back to the Airport.
